Biography and Early Life of Afro Highlife Fusion Singer, SONGITO

Anachuna Chukwunonso Raymond, popularly known as SONGITO (a.k.a DLORD OF IGBA), is a multi-talented Afro Highlife Fusion musician, songwriter, and entrepreneur.

SONGITO hails from Ebenebe, Anambra State, Nigeria. He began his musical journey at a young age, composing songs during his secondary school days. His unique sound, labeled “The New Igba International Sound,” is gaining recognition worldwide.

Growing up in a police barrack was challenging, and SONGITO acknowledges the struggles of the streets. In his words: “the streets weren’t funny either,” but music became his solace, a passion he’s turned into a lifestyle.

Since 2008, SONGITO has worked independently, releasing his debut single ERIMERI in collaboration with EJIMA042 in 2024. On July 7th, 2024, he dropped another single titled UDO featuring FANZY PAPAYA.
