The turmoil at Ekushumayeleni pushes Mshengu to look for comfort and peace elsewhere. Sbu tells Didi that Khathazile’s offer to pay for her education still stands, but there is one condition attached.

Nqubeko finally says what has been weighing on his heart. Donga refuses to take responsibility for Sibusiso’s burden.

MaMchunu suspects that Doreen is influencing Mshengu and turning him against her. Khathazile reveals to Tshidi that Ndumiso does not own On The Rocks.

MaMchunu wrestles with both good and evil thoughts as she begins to unravel because of the comfort she receives from her enemies. Doreen is disturbed by a dead bird and believes it is a bad omen. Tragedy strikes the Shabalalas once again.
