“People die because of beef” – Emtee reveals why he won’t record a diss track

Emtee on Why He Won’t Drop a Diss Track

Emtee warns people to stop urging him to release a diss track in response to Big Zulu’s 200 Bars.

The South African rapper has been vocal about his disapproval of the shots fired at him by the Inkabi Records boss in the diss track released last Friday.

Taking to Twitter, Emtee made it clear that beef can be deadly, and he still has a responsibility to his children.

The rapper emphasized his identity as a hitmaker, stating that his music has the power to change lives.

“People die cos of ‘beef’. My kids still need me, so leave me out of this diss track shit. I’m a full-blown musician. I make hip hop music. I’m not a backpack cypher rapper. I’m a hitmaker, and hits change lives,” he wrote.

Emtee also discussed the downsides of diss tracks.

“Diss tracks, you lose relationships, integrity, and you look desperate,” the rapper added.
