October opens with Ruiterbosch facing a tragedy that leaves the community shaken. At the same time, Bridgette becomes increasingly determined to uncover the truth after Nazeem moves against her.
Siya also finds himself under growing pressure. What begins as a difficult situation develops into a story dominated by guilt, secrecy and repeated attempts to hide the truth from the people around him.
Romance provides some lighter moments during the month. Frankie appears ready to move forward with Riaan, while Gary becomes immediately interested in Claire and repeatedly tries to win her over. Their connection, however, is complicated by secrets of its own.
