Job Title: Economist
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Activities
- Actively participate in delivering annual planning exercises: the E&P Long Term Plan, Budget, PRIME reserves calculation,
- Exploration & Appraisal budget, ASC932 Cash Flow reporting to the US stock exchange, etc.
- Carry out economic studies of development projects, exploration wells, new business deals, project sanction dossiers.
- Prepare and present to senior management the results of economics studies (i.e. COMPANY management, CDEP, BR, COVAL, CORISK/COMEX).
- Maintain the economic model and the modelling recap with any changes regarding the economic environment.
- Prepare and maintain the Fiscal Summary Sheet of assets in charge with annual update.
- Develop improved interfaces with technical and financial entities to improve quality and deliverability of economic analysis.
- Participate in the development, audit and validation Microsoft Excel tools /models used for economic evaluations and Essbase for data storage.
- Keep abreast of new approaches and proposed alternative approaches to Economic studies.
- Acquire and develop competencies on different economic models (aim at least 1 new per year), and the associated contractual and fiscal information.

- The Nigerian fiscal, contractual and business regime is complex. COMPANY is a large affiliate with numerous assets, projects and economics models to understand and manage.

Accountability:
- General objective of the Service:
- Undertake and perform high quality, accurate and sound economic analysis in relation to all of COMPANY’s business activities.
- Take a critical view of the input data (production, cost, impact on other assets)
- Knowledge of contractual terms of the asset in charge, as well as fiscal terms of regulations in force.
- Use knowledge and experience to define business cases and the most relevant KPI’s
- To provide Management a comprehensive view of COMPANY’s activities from an economic and value perspective, and to provide analysis and advice on maximising that value.
- Maintain and improve economic practices within COMPANY.
- Capacity to work to tight deadlines & produce high quality work within a high-pressure environment.
Requirements
- Graduate in a technical, finance or economics discipline
- Highly experienced in the use of Microsoft excel and economics modelling
- High level of computer literacy – Microsoft Excel / Visual Basic
- Highly numerate, analytical thinking, detailed oriented,
- Synthesis capabilities and capacity to escalate messages to senior management
- Experience in technical upstream “metier”: preferable but not mandatory.

Job Scope
- The Document/Tender Officer is responsible for managing, preparing, and coordinating tender submissions, documentation, and compliance requirements on platforms such as NipeX, NAPIMS, and other regulatory portals.
- The officer ensures that all tender and documentation processes align with the company’s objectives and meet industry standards.
Responsibilities
Tender Preparation and Submission:
- Prepare and compile technical and commercial bid documents in compliance with tender requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather required information and ensure accurate documentation.
- Manage tender submission timelines and ensure timely delivery of bid packages.
Documentation Management:
- Maintain up-to-date records of company documentation, certifications, and statutory requirements on platforms such as NipeX and NAPIMS.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and client requirements.
- Organize and archive all tender-related documents for easy retrieval.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Monitor updates on NipeX, NAPIMS, and other regulatory platforms to ensure company compliance with tender guidelines and requirements.

Job Title: Senior Project Control Engineer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Responsibilities
Dimensions:
- Responsibility for the efficient control of the Project package with regards to progress monitoring, material delivery, processing and payments of invoices, cost reporting, engineering documentation administration, Project reporting, commercial matters all in line with the T&Cs of
- the contract and instruction from Project Leader, as well as general administration
- Management of the Project Control team, closely monitoring and supporting the tasks of subordinates
- Interfacing with the ECP Project control team and C&P teams for the efficient coordination of Project administrative and contractual needs
- Report Project activities to PM and management of the Project general administrative matters
Activities:
- The scope of activities for the OML 58 Solarization project include the following:
- To promote rigor in rationale (validation and completeness of information before starting work is paramount) and creativity in solutions, but to challenge if the work is not completed to satisfaction
- To ensure subordinates communicates freely and efficiently within the Project, with other
- Departments, PMT, affiliate and COMPANY HQ in the execution of their tasks as their Service description requires
- To ensure quality reporting
- To monitor working atmosphere and to readjust as necessary
- To monitor progress (PRIMAVERA) on a weekly and monthly basis
- To follow up delivery of equipment and sign off relevant interim certificates (when the conditions are met)
- To control invoices (progress, milestones, reimbursable, COs, team mission expenses) and to process them through UNISUP system
- To log contract execution expenditures and report to PMT
- To forecast payments with contractor and with PMT
- To administrate detailed engineering documentation, transmittal from/to contractor, PMT and affiliate (through PRODOM) and to monitor COMPANY responses are in line with contract set time frame
- To challenge contractor COR to the benefit of the COMPANY (however in fairness)
- To manage exchange with Project HR with regards to Project manpower plan
- To liaise with authorities (NAPIMS, DPR, NCDMB) to ensure validation of change order prior to launch execution

- Favourable Factors: OML 58 Solarization project represents a novel and technically challenging project within the Affiliate. Enhance skill set with this magnitude of renewable, hybrid project.
Accountabilities
- Compliance with the OML 58 Solarization project HSE KPI & Objective and assist the project in compliance with overall COMPANY HSE requirement.
- Ensure that adequate contractual and administrative support is provided to the Engineering team for the progress and timely completion of Detailed engineering.
- Ensure that Engineering team responds to technical queries and returns documents to Contractor within the contractual timeframe.
- Ensure proper tracking of design changes that could potentially result in change orders.
- Ensure the quality and correctness of the design dossier is in line with Project standards.
- Ensure contractor compliance with Project invoicing, reporting procedures and local content regulations.
- Ensure that change order requests are treated promptly.
- Manage his team efficiently
- Ensure continuous communication with ECP project control and C&P contract teams
- Maintain good contractual relationship with contractor and ensure that COMPANY responds promptly to contractor letters.
- Report efficiently to the Project Manager
HSE Objectives
- Compliance with the OML 58 Solarization project HSE KPI & Objective and assist the project in compliance with overall COMPANY HSE requirement.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualification: B.Sc. in technical, legal and commercial discipline.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in Major Oil & Gas engineering projects and operations.
- Good knowledge of Company Project control procedures and knowledge to mediate on technical issues common to brown field Oil & Gas projects.
- Ability to adapt and to represent the company in discussions/negotiations with contractors.
- Personnel management experience.
- Ability to effectively liaise with engineering and construction teams on ways to avoid claims from contractor.
- Language: Fluent English.
