October at a Glance
October begins with Joe reaching an important point in the search for answers about his family, but a shocking death quickly changes the emotional direction of his story. Max steps in to support him as Joe deals with loss and another difficult goodbye.
At Binneland, much of the month’s tension centres on Henry. Katryn becomes increasingly uneasy about both his professional behaviour and the possibility that he may be hiding something. Her concerns eventually lead her to search for operating-room footage, while Henry himself begins undergoing medical tests.
Steve’s involvement at Thusanang also becomes a source of conflict. Johan does not trust him, Ella discovers information that fuels further suspicion, and Steve later finds himself having to prove his innocence before going on the offensive himself.
Away from the hospital investigations, Bonnie and Luke face a difficult month of their own. Concerns about Luke’s health, pressure from his parents and disagreements about their relationship gradually test what Bonnie believes could be the love of her life.

Katryn Begins Questioning Henry
