Yaman desperately searches for Seher, but his attention quickly shifts when he finds Melek unable to breathe and rushes her to hospital. Elsewhere, Fikret receives troubling news, while a mysterious package arrives for Ali at the police station.

Yaman confronts Seher over a photograph and letter that have fuelled his suspicions. Meanwhile, Semra anxiously waits for Soner to contact her and learns that he is demanding a R500,000 ransom. Duygu also makes an embarrassing mistake that adds some lighter drama to the day.

Sultan arrives at the police station terrified about what may have happened to Semra. Semra is being held at gunpoint by Soner, while Seher confronts Yaman over their growing problems. Later, Seher offers to look after Melek so Fikret can meet with the doctor.

Consumed by guilt, Yaman goes to Fikret’s house and waits outside, hoping Seher will allow him to see her. Ali and Duygu, meanwhile, reach the ruins where Semra was held. Duygu becomes distraught after recognising her mother’s scarf and finding blood at the scene.

Semra falls into the hands of her captors once again. At Fikret’s home, Yaman’s presence outside creates fresh tension after part of a conversation involving him is overheard. Seher later refuses his offer to drive her and Yusuf.

Semra continues battling the emotional effects of everything she has endured. Yaman watches the CD Seher left for him, while a request from Fikret concerning Melek creates yet another uncomfortable situation.

Disaster strikes when a problem with Necmi’s car leads to a serious accident that leaves Yaman critically injured. Zuhal is terrified that he may die, while Canan’s reaction is shaped by what his condition could mean for the fortune she hopes to secure.

Duygu cannot escape the cruel words of her mother playing over and over in her mind. She goes to Ali’s house but struggles to accept his support. At the hospital, Yaman comes through surgery, although the doctor warns Seher that his condition remains extremely serious.

Yaman shows signs of life again, but he is still far from recovered. The search begins for the person responsible for hitting him. Ali stays at Duygu’s home to support her, although their usual arguments continue.

Yaman remains unconscious as Seher refuses to leave his side. Memories of their happier days come flooding back to her, while Yaman appears to sense that she is close even though he has not yet awakened.

Seher continues talking to the unconscious Yaman, hoping he can hear her. Nedim moves closer to identifying the man working for Canan, forcing her to think quickly about how to stop him. Duygu insists she can cope alone, but Ali refuses to abandon her.

Relief finally spreads through the family when Yaman wakes up. Canan and Zuhal scramble to make sure dangerous images are deleted before they can expose them. Duygu asks Ali to leave her alone, but he refuses to give up on her, while Semra still will not speak to her daughter.

Yaman slowly begins his recovery as Nedim closes in on Necmi. Elsewhere, Sultan notices the growing closeness between Ali and Duygu and becomes determined to find out exactly what is happening between them.

Seher wants to tell Yaman exactly how she feels and prepares to visit him, but finding the courage is not easy. Meanwhile, Sultan draws the wrong conclusion after unexpectedly finding Ali and Duygu completely soaked.

Seher still cannot bring herself to confess her love to Yaman. Canan, however, is already working on a new scheme designed to make Yaman dependent on her. Ali tries to distance himself from Duygu, just as Sultan realises that their feelings for each other are genuine.

Seher finally heads to the hospital determined to tell Yaman what is in her heart. At the same time, the distance between Ali and Duygu makes both of them realise how badly they miss each other.

Kara agrees to help Sultan by speaking to Ali about Duygu. Canan struggles to find another opportunity to give Yaman the medicine because someone is constantly with him. Frustrated, she begins working on another plan.
